Vehicle flooring must combine low weight, structural performance, fire protection and long service life while supporting efficient vehicle assembly. COMFLOOR® meets these requirements through a modular composite flooring system developed for rail and road vehicles.

The system can integrate functions such as heating directly into the floor structure, reducing interfaces and simplifying installation. Its modular architecture supports customised vehicle programmes, including lot-size-one configurations and model changes implemented in a single step.

COMFLOOR® engineering begins with vehicle geometry, load cases, interfaces and the functions required in the floor. The modular architecture is then configured for the specific vehicle platform.

Composite sandwich construction combines low weight, durability and dimensional stability. Functional integration and offline pre-assembly reduce interfaces at the vehicle and support an efficient transition from engineering to serial production.
